Here at The Wellhouse, we offer a variety of classes, workshops and support groups. In order to meet the needs and enrich the lives of the families in our community, we strive to offer a wide variety of options. Below, you can access our full calendar of current offerings, as well as a few highlighted descriptions of some of our recurring classes. The Bradley Method of Childbirth – The Bradley Method teaches couples to stay healthy and low risk during pregnancy and how as a couple you can be well informed and prepared for natural childbirth.

Essentials of Childbirth – This course is a great opportunity to prepare yourself for the birth of your child in a safe environment with other expectant parents. This 6 week course covers the stages of labor, comfort measures, benefits and risks of common interventions, life with a newborn, breastfeeding and much more.

Mothering Together – a topical chat group specifically designed to engage the mother’s heart on a variety of issues and interests.

Birth Matters – a topical chat group led by expert guest speakers on matters of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.

Thoughtful Parenting – a topical chat group led by expert guest speakers on matters of parenting our children as they grow.

Postpartum Support Group – a therapeutic support group led by a licensed counselor for mothers dealing with postpartum mood and anxiety issues.

Preschool Music & Movement – Children ages 2-5 will sing, dance and imagine during a 45-minute whole self interaction with the joy of music.

Pixie Pockets – A 1.5 hour class on the basics of cloth diapering as well as an intro to wash and care.

Wisp Wearing – A 2 hour class on the basics of babywearing safety as well as touch each of the main types of baby carriers.

CPR for Parents – A very basic CPR course that covers CPR from infant to adult (not a certification).
