Dr. Amanda Jerviss, Jerviss Family Chiropractic
Dr. Amanda Jerviss has been a practicing chiropractor for 16 years. Because she grew up with a father who also is a chiropractor, Dr. Jerviss has seen and experienced the power of chiropractic her entire life. She cares for all ages in her practice, but takes extra training every year specifically for the prenatal and pediatric patient. She is certified in the Webster Technique, helping to align the pregnant mother’s pelvis, and allowing the unborn infant to turn to his or her best position. This has shown to be helpful with breech presentation babies as well as those that are not ideally positioned to begin and progress labor.
Jerviss Family Chiropractic is located in Seymour, but she has also served patients in Knoxville for the past 4 years. She joined the Wellhouse team in July 2015 and truly enjoys the mission of the group to support and encourage new mothers and families to have the best experience possible before, during, and after the birth of a new child. When chiropractic care is included with prenatal care, lactation services, massage or any of the other services at the Wellhouse, outcomes are reportedly better. Parents regularly bring newborns with latching issues, problems sleeping, fussiness, reflux, constipation, and developmental challenges to Dr. Jerviss.
Because of the resources available at the Wellhouse, most women can receive the help they need, or obtain information about where to go to find the help they need. Dr. Jerviss and her husband, Aaron, have two little girls and have lived in the Knoxville area for the past 11 years.
We invite you to learn more or to contact Dr. Jerviss.
